Champion Painting Millmerran Show 2019 This was an unexpected surprise for me. I had some others I though may do well so this was quite a thrill. I covered another not so successful painting, leaving small amounts of the original showing through the added layers. I was happy with it by the time I had finished.
ACRYLICS are amazing to use.
They are so immediate and the colours can be so strong and bright, which, for Still Life, Florals and Abstracts is a great bonus. They dry quickly and give lots of spontaneity, and allow me to cover large canvasses very rapidly, leaving me able to add more layers as I see fit. Such a lot of fun.
